1. Services Provided 
The Listening Midwife™ provides private antenatal and postnatal consultation services, including pregnancy support, birth planning, and birth debrief sessions. These services are intended to complement, not replace, NHS or other medical care. 

2. Qualifications 
All consultations are carried out by a qualified and registered midwife with extensive NHS experience. 

3. Booking and Payment 
- Sessions must be booked in advance via the website, email, or phone. 
- Full payment is required at the time of booking. 
- Accepted payment methods include bank transfer and secure online payment. 

4. Cancellations and Refunds 
- Appointments cancelled with at least 48 hours’ notice will be refunded in full or rescheduled. 
- Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice are non-refundable. 
- If the midwife needs to cancel due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, a full refund or rescheduled appointment will be offered. 

5. Scope of Service 
These sessions do not constitute emergency medical advice or care. Clients experiencing medical concerns should contact their NHS midwife, GP, or maternity triage immediately. 

6. Confidentiality 
All personal information shared during sessions is treated confidentially and in accordance with the privacy policy. 

7. Liability 
While every effort is made to ensure accurate information and safe guidance, The Listening Midwife™ cannot be held responsible for outcomes resulting from client decisions or actions outside of the consultation.

8.  Assurance

Our midwives are NMC registered so you can search for them on the national register for your assurance.  

We are also a FEDANT registered business. FEDANT is the national regulator in the antenatal and postnatal sector. As a FEDANT Registered professional, you can be assured that I adhere to rigorous standards of education and practice, demonstrating my commitment to excellence when guiding you through the exciting journey of pregnancy, childbirth and beyond.
